The Jurasits Y-DNA Project

Bilicskini - Istokovi - Jivicsanovi - Sincsevi Relationship Charts                                                                                                                                  Our Jurasits DNA Project and "where we stand"

This is a Y-chromosome DNA testing project limited to male Jurasits family members (and any variant spelling from anywhere in the world) from unbroken lines of Jurasits males.  Variant spelling include, but are not limited to Jurasits, Yurasits, Jurasic, etc.

Acquaint yourself with DNA testing by visiting the web site for Family Tree DNA, who is conducting the Jurasits DNA test:
http://www.FamilyTreeDna.com

The collection of the sample is simple – anyone can do it.

The collection of the sample is PAINLESS – no blood required!

Just rub the inside of your cheek with the cotton swab.

If you qualify and wish to take the DNA Test (cheek swab), let me know

(John Lavendoski). You will be sent a Test Kit with instructions.

You can use the link below to join the project and purchase your DNA test.

If you choose to join the project without contacting first me, PLEASE order at least a Y-DNA37 kit.

Haplogroup

The results indicated above compare the member's Family Tree DNA Y-DNA STR test with the world-wide database of Dr. Hammer. The Haplogroups shown in Dr. Hammer's database were confirmed by SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) tests at Dr. Hammer's lab, which uses the YCC nomenclature. Haplogroups are a classification tied to deep ancestry (think 10,000 or 10's of 1000's of years) and are used in the human Phylogenetic tree. Please note that the countries in this database are the countries of the individuals that were tested. The purpose of the country information is to tell researches about migratory patterns, and should not be used to determine countries of origin.  The member's  matches suggest that they belong to indicated Haplogroup. Members could confirm this by ordering a Y-DNA SNP test.  Results shown in green have been verified, results shown in red have been predicted by Family Tree DNA based on unambiguous results in the individual's personal page.
